2. Personal information we collect
Depending on your dealings with us, we may collect your name, contact details, address, identification information, property preferences, budget, finance or pre-approval details, transaction information, communications with us, and information needed to assess, negotiate or complete property purchases on your behalf.
We may also collect information about sellers, selling agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers, lenders, building and pest inspectors, valuers and other people involved in a property transaction where that information is reasonably necessary for our services.
3. How we collect personal information
We usually collect personal information directly from you when you enquire with us, complete a client onboarding form, sign an agency agreement, attend a consultation, communicate with us by phone or email or SMS, or provide documents to support your property search or purchase/sale.
We may also collect personal information from third parties where it is reasonable to do so, including selling agents, property portals, public registers, referral partners, professional advisers, lenders, brokers, conveyancers, inspectors and publicly available sources.
4. Why we collect, use and disclose personal information
We collect, use and disclose personal information to provide Buyer’s Agency and property advisory services, understand your property goals, identify and assess suitable properties, arrange inspections and due diligence, negotiate with selling agents, communicate with relevant parties, manage our relationship with you, comply with legal obligations and improve our services.
If you do not provide information we reasonably request, we may not be able to provide some or all of our services, properly assess property opportunities, communicate with relevant parties, or meet our legal and professional obligations.

We may disclose personal information to selling agents, vendors, conveyancers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, lenders, valuers, building and pest inspectors, strata managers, insurers, technology providers, marketing service providers, professional advisers, regulators and other parties where disclosure is reasonably necessary for our services or required by law.
We do not sell your personal information. If we disclose information to service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it appropriately and only for authorised purposes.
6. Direct marketing

7. Overseas disclosure
Some of our technology, cloud storage, email, customer relationship management or support providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect your information and ensure it is handled consistently with this Policy and applicable privacy laws.
8. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include access controls, secure storage, password protection, staff training and procedures for handling suspected data breaches.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to manage our business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
9. Access and correction
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within a reasonable time and will explain if we cannot provide access or make a requested correction.
